![]() it feels weird in the late game still needing to manually gather one by one a basic resource when I have a massive ♥♥♥♥ off Mech Suite that should be able to do it for me. If during the walkthrough of Subnautica: Below Zero there was a need to find nickel ore, then as its source we recommend considering the biome called Lilypad Islands (and the crevices of the Lilypad), as well as biomes such as Crystal Caves and Fabricator Caverns. You see what I mean? As a reward for getting the Drill P suite I should be able to gather the resources I need quickly. Subnautica: Below Zero Nickel Ore Location Guide. ![]() ![]() Afterwards I wasn't sitting there going 'If only I couldn't gather lead so efficiently I would enjoy the game more'. In Subnautica 1, when I made the P suite and fitted it with a drill arm, I gathered all the lead I needed for what I wanted and that was that. If they wanted to make resource more scare then why did they only remove some deposits and not other. People say it's to make lead more scarce but it hasn't even done that. It's the choice to remove the deposits for seemingly no reason. They can be harvested, and then you can use them to craft Lubricant and Silicone Rubber, or you can place them in the Bioreactor for power. I have looked in THREE separate lost river biomes and none of them have any materials that I can’t find. The Creepvine Seed Clusters are the bright yellow orbs that light up the Creepvines, especially at night, and they are one of the necessary basic materials. I only need six pieces so I can craft the depth upgrades and complete the freakin game. It's not the availability of other resources that's the problem. Ive spent the better part of a day looking for nickel in the lost river. It can also be found as a large resource deposit, they are especially plentiful in the Lost River, Mountains, and the Mountain Island's caves. Lots of item form lithium can be found in the deep sparse reef near Officer Keen's lifepod. Lithium can be found in single form both above and below water, as well as in shale outcrops. Way more time than it would take to gather the same amount of any other basic resource. Lithium is a raw material found in many Biomes. But, if you need a lot, it takes a fair a amount of time. Again, I'm not saying that the scarcity of lead is the problem, it's there and easy to get.
